Make and eat a healthy dip

Ok, the Super Bowl is over and after being stuffed with nachos, tacos, chips, creamy dips and salsa -and don't get me started on double dipping- it's about time you made a nice, healthy dip to boost your rather weaken at present immune system. Here is my Hummus recipe:

Ingredients

Two cups of chickpeas (from a can)
1 table spoon olive oil
3 table spoons tahini
Salt, pepper, cumin –as you like it
Half cup of lemon juice
2 cloves of garlic (for those who like it)
paprika (use at the end)
Method

Mix all the ingredients in the blender and blend at medium speed until the mix becomes smooth and creamy. Leave it in the fridge for two hours to get cold. Top with paprika. Serve with grilled pita bread, crunchy bread, potato chips, gluten-free crackers or just veggies like carrots and cucumbers. It is healthy and it tastes good.

Alternative: instead of chickpeas you could use beans. When I did this, I almost eliminated the tahini or left very little. It had a different kick but the appearance was rather tricky (many thought it was fois gras). So watch out for this one!
