Kitchen Arts‏ and Letters event



Kitchen Arts and Letters are selling off hundreds and hundreds of slightly damaged, modestly out-of-date, or otherwise unfortunate books, all priced from $1.00 to $10.00.  Find everything from torn-jacketed copies of current releases to shelf-worn classics. No reservations and no mail orders.

Refinery + LOFT's Rockefeller Center Grand Opening Event June 8

Dumbo First Thursday and June

It is time again for the First Thursday Gallery Walk, and this month promises to be one of the best yet!  Not to be missed?  The inaugural lighting on Tom Fruin's Watertower viewable from the streets, the Park, the Bridges and even the FDR in Manhattan.  Also for your itinerary, Girls Like Bass, presented by Brooklyn Arts Council, under The Archway at 8PM - an experience of sound, light and dance,

Later this month, come back for Make Music New York happening on June 21st throughout the neighborhood. Then, on June 26th, join Etsy under The Archway for Hands-on: DUMBO.  Both events are totally FREE and open to the public.

All First Thursday events are open to the public; most events listed are free.

Local bars and restaurants also get in on the action - AlMar has 2 for 1 drink specials from 4-6pm. Water Street Restaurant & Lounge has 2 for 1 cosmos for ladies at the bar.
