Fullybooked's slim holiday dessert

I had it with the pumpkin pies, muffins, brownies and all those fatty ones I don't particularly like. If there is one thing I do like though is NUTELLA and I do also like yogurt. So I came up with the idea of mixing Greek-slyle low fat yogurt with Nutella for the perfect, after main course, sweet fix. As the result was tasty but plain, I had to add something small so I threw small pieces of digestive cookies (or biscotti if you prefer). So the dessert is ready, is soft, is delicious and is low in calories. A win-win situation...

Have a look at the pictures, then have a try. Some will tell you that it's interesting!

RECIPE

Nutella-yogurt with digestive cookies

2 pounds of low fat, Greek or Greek-style yogurt (you can opt for the full fat; the mix will be thicker)

2/3 of the nutella jar (13 oz)

A pack of digestive cookies (or biscotti) for topping

Mix the yogurt with the nutella as long as you can. Ideally, if you have a food processor, put it in the slower scale and leave it for 10 minutes; this will make it smooth, soft and well combined. If you use a hand beater, do it for at least 15 minutes, if not longer. Put it in the fridge for 2 to 3 hours to cool off. Serve it with small pieces of digestive cookies on top.

To give a twist, add grated hazelnuts, given your guests' approval!
