Seattle Discoveries

Happy 2014 dear friends and readers!

I celebrated the beginning of this year at my "locale", Feedback Lounge. This cool  hang-out with the impressive bar that includes hundreds of well presented liquor bottles is a small oasis in West Seattle. The house cocktails are exclusive. I had a hard time to make my mind between a Dante's Shadow and a Terra Firma Stomp, both tequila libations, the first sour, the second spicy. I opted for the first and didn't regret it. It was maybe a little more sour than expected but still a festive way to usher in 2014.

My dear friend and partner had the 1002 Injuries, made with scotch, cherry hooch and amontillado. Too strong for my taste and not for the faint. Worth mentioning all the same...

The Feedback Lounge has a full menu for nibbling and serious eating and a separate happy hour menu as well.

Those who want to learn more about the art of cocktail making can join the Cocktail Club, every Thursday at 6 PM. I plan to go soon. Updates will be posted here.

Feedback Lounge opens daily from 4 PM to 2 AM and at 11: 30 AM to 2 AM on the weekends.

Seattle Discoveries is born today. Each month Fully booked will explore interesting bars, cafes and restaurants in the Seattle area and report briefly about them. Some hot  pho and North Western dungeness crab are coming soon next to you!
